CAHPS Surveys
Certified by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) to conduct CAHPS surveys, The Myers Group has received certification each year since 1998, the first year the CAHPS surveys were introduced.

For 2003 through 2007, The Myers Group earned the highest sample capacity authorized by NCQA with certification to conduct up to 500 samples. Few CAHPS vendors have attained certification at this level.

To achieve this capacity level, our staff and operations were thoroughly reviewed by NCQA, including on-site evaluations of computer systems, data collection, telephone interviewing capabilities, and the results report.

Hospital CAHPS Surveys
The Myers Group is an approved and experienced CAHPS Hospital Survey vendor. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is now requiring hospitals to report consistent measures on patient satisfaction with hospital care to receive a full IPPS payment update beginning in FY 2008.

Medicare HOS Surveys
The Myers Group is certified to administer the Medicare Health Outcomes Survey (HOS), which is designed for the Medicare population in managed care settings. It assesses an MCO’s ability to maintain or improve the physical and mental health of its Medicare members over time.
